Obermark portfolio companies donate to a good cause

Language connects. That's why the town of Karben is working with the Protestant church to set up a project to offer language courses for refugees. But financial backing is required to see this come to full fruition.
Holzhauser-Pumpen is aware of its responsibility to both the town and region and is thus supporting this ambitious project. During a visit from Karben's mayor, Guido Rahn, the Holzhauer team presented a cheque donating EUR 2,000 for the cause, an amount which means that ten per cent of the total sum required for the project is already available.
A lively exchange on economic topics
The mayor's visit also provided an ideal opportunity for the Holzhauer-Pumpen company explore and discuss important topics such as business development, recruitment, in addition to various options for expansion in the region.
Mayor Rahn emphasised Holzhauser-Pumpen's commitment to social and economic cohesion in and around Karben. According to Guido Rahn, Holzhauer-Pumpen is one of the city's top five employers and taxpayers in this respect.

ROPEX presented a cheque for the charitable organisation titled "Bietigheim-Bissinger Tafel e. V." for the end of the year and, as Managing Director Ralph Boehlke emphasised, is thus delivering on one of the four core corporate values: cohesion. As a locally-based company, Boehlke says it is particularly important "to do some good for local people this year. That's why we decided not to give gifts to business partners and instead made a donation of EUR 1,000 to the local food bank. We would like to thank all the socially committed people who make a service like the Tafel possible in the first place."

In 2023, the companies ATEK and Rietschoten donated 20 "Tommy" comfort bears to "Rettungsdienst-Kooperation in Schleswig-Holstein (RKiSH) gGmbH" in the Pinneberg district. The "Förderverein Luftrettungszentrum Christoph 29 Hamburg e. V." association received 15 “First Aid for Children” books for primary school children in the Pinneberg district, and the Esslingen handball club were given twelve new jerseys.
inotec Barcode Security GmbH also made a commitment to the common good at the company's location: the provider of high-quality barcode, inmould, RFID and product security solutions handed over a Christmas donation of EUR 2,000 to the charitable organisation "Kindertafel Neumünster e.V.“.
